Your service throughout the process has been exemplary, with outstanding communication, service, and technical quality. Hi Linda and Phil,
The books arrived today, and I must say they look spectacular. Thank you so much for such a great print job as well as a wonderful working experience from start to finish. You both have been a pleasure to work with. We don’t do many of these projects, but you’ll be my first call when the next one comes around.

Phil and Linda,
The book you've produced for me is just  incredibly nice. The accuracy of the colors is amazing. The paper choice was perfect. The jacket, cloth, stamping, text-- Everything is outstanding. I will be showing the book off today at the Kensington Historical Society picnic. :-)
Many, many thanks!

I have now completed my second photography book with Signature Book Printing and are pleased with the quality of their reproducing photographs. I enjoyed work with Phil Nanzetta, as his attention to detail paid off in the finished book. The dust jacket will help generate sales. They charged me a reasonable cost for each book, enabling me to potentially make money from potential sales. My two books- PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW (Buffalo, NY photographs) and WHO KILLED THE PEBBLE MINE? (about Alaska salmon and a copper mine)

Hi Phil,
Just a quick thank you for once again delivering an exceptional quality product. I really do appreciate your attention to detail. I couldn't be happier about working with you. The quality of your products and your outstanding service is very rare these days. Thank you once again.

Dear Phil,

The books came yesterday. I am very pleased with the job Signature Book Printing did on the second edition of my book, The Park. The quality is excellent, you had a great price, and your service exceeded all my expectations.

A local printer and friend, who is no longer in business, did my first edition.  I was a bit apprehensive picking someone off the  internet for this second edition.  Signature Book Printing did not disappoint me.  You had so many great reviews on your web site I felt confident you did good work and you do.  If you want to add this recommendation to your extensive list, you have my permission.

I'm smiling from ear to ear.  Thank you and your people for a great job!

Sincerely

Dear Phil and Linda,
Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job printing my books! Not only are the books really beautiful and each page looks exactly the way I dreamed, but the customer service was incredible.

I don’t have a lot of experience with creating books and I was nervous starting over again with a new layout, computer and guidelines. My first book, Dreamscape, was a 5” x 7”, spiral bound, portrait style book and had only a small number of pages. Wonderlace was a completely new experience (and using a new word processing system) and I truly appreciated all of your super quick, helpful responses . . . and answering in a way that didn’t make me feel like I was asking ridiculous questions.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful to me and that meant a lot. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your printing company to others with glowing comments and rave reviews.

I hope to do more business with you in the future (a third book might already been in the works for next year or so)…you’re the best! Have a fantastic week and thank you again for creating a book that I love so much!

Always,

Phil and Linda,
The copies of DRAFTED and SERVED arrived this morning. Everything went well and the book looks great! As you know, this is the third book that I have done with you and I have been extremely pleased with each. Your advice and recommendations are always sound. You answer questions promptly in a friendly yet professional manner. The cost is reasonable. And the final product looks terrific!

Linda and Phil,
Thank you so much for the books, they are great! We have published four books now, hard to believe, and I want to take a minute to thank you for the extra mile you take. I keep pointing people in your direction and singing your praises, and hope more and more become clients as well. We should have our first chapter book to you by the end of July, and hopefully another picture book done before Christmas. Phil,
I thought you'd like this comment from a purchaser of the color book "Pattern and Experimental Pieces of WW-II" that you printed for me. The writer is a highly regarded dealer in coins and currency with a very critical eye:

Congratulations, Roger!
I was blown away when I opened the envelope.

To Phil and every one at Signature Book Printing,

Thank you sooooo much for such a wonderful product.  People love the look of my poetry book!  They comment on the quality and the cover like it's the best thing since sliced bread.  Aquiring your services is the best decision I've made so far this year.  Your customer service and professionalism set a real precedent.  And the end result...WOW!  I am completely impressed and will be using your services as often as I need book printing.  I will also do my best to reference business your way.  Thanks again!

I highly recommend Phil Nanzetta and Signature Book Printing.  I live overseas and had no experience in book printing before contacting him. I received personal attention, quick feedback, speed of production, and a very high quality final product. Shipping was also of a very good quality; the books arrived on the island without damage, even after ocean shipping

In particular, I'd like to stress the easy communication with Phil Nanzetta.  Emails and questions were returned within hours.  Sending documents back and forth was without problem and a very fast and easy process.  Phil was always willing to find solutions to all my inexperienced questions and requests.

I did a lot of due diligence before I spent my hard earned money publishing not only a book, but my first one.  It was a tremendously scary undertaking since I did it from scratch by reading hundreds of pages on the internet. After being made comfortable with the language on Phil's www.sbpbooks.com web page, I called to inquire further.  I am very pleased to say that from the start (even before deciding to make Signature Book Printing my printer) to the finish (receiving and now selling a very high quality product), I made the right choice in working with this firm.  From the pleasant customer service of Erinn, to bookkeeping with Linda and last but not least, the "hand holding" from Phil himself, I can not give a stronger recommendation!

My sincere thanks and loyalty!

Books received last Friday.  They look super.  I appreciate the professional and user friendly way in which you conduct business.  One of the keys to my favorable impression is your "thin" organization design.  Other houses have driven me to distraction because the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.  Your hands work perfectly! Kudos, and I can't wait to write another book for you to handle.  Also was pleased with the cover design - really gives the book a nice punch.  you can use me as a reference anytime.

Oh, and by the way....

{quoting from Signature's quote form}
Our prices are complete, and they are for exact quantity. We suggest that when you are comparing costs, you watch out for hidden charges in some printers' quotes; these may be listed as administrative fees, proofs, proof shipment, 10% overs, and other tricks that make it tough to see the actual cost.

I know this is standard language in your quotes, but I have to comment...  There is no need to do that comparison.  Of all the printers I've checked out for this project, your company is the most cost effective while still maintaining high quality.

BTW, I grew up with a family run mailing and printing company, so I'm rather picky.

I am pleased to write this letter of reference and endorsement for Signature Book Printing and Phil Nanzetta. I want to let the world know that this book printer is, without doubt, the company you want to work with if you are thinking of publishing a book, whether it’s your first or your 10th book. In my work as an editorial consultant, I have helped three authors publish their books using Signature and the results have always been truly a dream. Furthermore, when I had the chance to start my own publishing company, I did not hesitate to do so because I knew I had the printing part of the equation all lined up. I knew I could count on Signature to help me, guide me, and provide great printing. The entire team at this company is exceptional, with personal service beyond comparison. Phil Nanzetta goes out of his way, time after time, to respond to your emails quickly, to inform and update you on the status of your project, and to live up to his word. More than once, Signature has provided me with beyond-the-line-duty service.

In one case, I consulted on a book project for a nonagenarian who was writing his life memoir. He had founded a hospital in Los Angeles and was a well-known figure in the community. We wanted to publish a hard-cover edition of his book in time for the author’s 97th birthday in just 30 days!!! And Phil Nanzetta got the job done for us in a beautiful book in 30 days time.

I have now founded my own publishing company, the Creativity Coaching Association Press (see www.cca-press.com), focusing on books about creativity and a creative lifestyle. Signature has printed two press runs of my new book, Inspiring Creativity, and I hope you will take a look at my book if you are interested in this subject area. I invite you to email me at publisher@cca-press.com if you would like further details about my experiences with Signature Book Printing a company that I highly recommend to any author or publisher who is looking for a quality printer with extremely high standards of professionalism and personal service.

Yours sincerely,
Rick Benzel, (publisher of Inspiring Creativity)

Phil - I want to thank you for the way in which you (personally) and SBP (corporately) handled printing my book "Deny Them the Night Sky". Every aspect of the transaction, start to finish, was at the highest level of professionalism - not to mention you folks being about as user-friendly as humanly possible. The advice you gave was uniformly superb and timely (including the info you volunteered when I didn't know what to ask!), and the level of help went far beyond what one might expect. The book is oversized, complex, and not short at 520 pages, including the color section. Your advice greatly improved the final product, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. No glitches at all. Everything you said would happen occurred as planned, on schedule, at the cost quoted. This was my first publishing venture, so I knew zilch about the realities of the process - believe me, if and when I do this again, you folks will simply get my business no questions asked. I've already recommended you to a couple of friends, and would be happy to field any requests you may have from potential customers for references.

The UPS shipment of books arrived today. We are absolutely pleased with the final product as these books look far greater than our expectation. The lay-flat-matte cover is truly a lay flat (being tested well in our very humid day today), unlike our first edition of a promised lay flat (including extra charges) where the covers instantly curled as if they were placed in hair curlers. The quality of paper and printing also have a welcoming invite to the book, it feels good and looks good. Unlike our first edition, we can proudly let these books go into the public.

We also wanted to say to you that we are very fortunate to have crossed paths with Signature Book Printing; your  printing company does what it promises. You have been right up front with us about your materials, costs, and schedules. From our previous experience with another book printing company, we felt ripped off with expensive extra costs and a promised product that was far inferior to our agreement and expectations. We'd recommend you in a heart beat (and  already have) to anyone interested in knowing about our experience or possibly wanting to publish. I truly hope our books will sell and disappear like hot cakes so we will have to go into another printing with you in the future.

I don’t know if I had given you feedback on the recent job you did for us (The Horologion, Book of Hours). This, in addition to the previous job you did for us are absolutely beautifully done. In addition, as I have tried to communicate on previous occasions, I thank you for your work. You and your company do a great job at a competitive price. It is a pleasure and it is easy doing business with you. This is customer service at its finest! I commend you and your employees for following through on your promise of great service.

I wanted to pass this along. I was just reading prayers from the Horologion, and now that I have finished, I wanted to pass along these thoughts.

Have a great weekend. God-willing, as future business opportunities arise, I hope and expect that we will continue this very pleasurable business relationship.

One of our customers, Mary D. Osborne, responded to a request for information from a potential customer as follows:

Hi, Julie:

I found my experience with Signature Book Printers a very satisfactory one.  I was a little leery at first, because, to be honest, I didn't think their Website looked glitzy or sophisticated enough.  However, it was more informative and straight-forward than most others I'd visited. I didn't feel stupid for not knowing all the printing lingo, since it was explained so nicely on their site.  Phil Nanzetta was very helpful, very businesslike and no-nonsense.  Whatever was stated on their Website was true.  Their turn-around time on the proofs was a week.  It actually took a little less time for my book to be printed than anticipated (I think less than 4 or 5 weeks).  Shipping was the only snag, and that wasn't much of a problem--I live in Wisconsin and the weather was actually the culprit there.  I'm anticipating printing a second children's book with Signature, I hope in September, as well as a technical book of my husband's on stuttering management (also in September). I'm looking forward to working with them again, and I don't think you'd go wrong to print [your book] with them.  Plus, they give your completed book a nice little Web page (like the one you saw for THE BOY WHO LOVE THE SHIM-SHAM SHIMMY).  I've also had a lot of good feedback on the quality of the book printing from bookstore owners, etc.

Hope that answers your questions.  I think it's smart to check with some of their customers.  I never even thought of doing that! Doi! Hope things go well with you (You'd better be ready to market, market, market, market once your book is published--that's the hardest part of all!)

A pleasure doing business with you!

My father-in-law sent us our copies of Essentials of Living and I am so pleased with the outcome. They are beautiful and the quality is excellent. You have delivered all that you promised and relieved all my anxieties about doing business "sight-unseen". Thanks for helping to make CC Thomas' dream come true!

Thanks,

It's been great working with you.  Here's a quote for  your testimonial page in case you want to add it. After scouring the Web in search of a printer for my father's memoirs, I ended up finding one just down the road in  Gaithersburg.  But it wasn't the convenient location that sold me; Signature's straightforward approach to business and pricing convinced me that the staff really understood the needs of someone who was self-publishing. Phil was prompt in his responses, thoughtful in his answers, and good to his word.  When my amateur attempts at cover design weren't quite up to the task, his staff delivered a quality revision at a fair price.  The results were exactly what I was looking for - a smart-looking book that my parents and their friends will treasure for many years.

Since Signature Book Printing does most of its work with people they never meet, perhaps the best insight I can give someone looking for a printer is that I have now met Phil and his staff and have seen his printing facility.  I can tell you that they are as professional and honest as they appear on their website.  They do high-quality work and they keep their commitments.  Without hesitation, I would recommend Signature to anyone looking for a fair price on quality book printing.

I was at the end of my rope, having been screwed by my publisher (-------), and had to find a printer fast in order to get my  baseball book out in time for baseball season (it was already  May).  My publisher told me that it would take 5 weeks to  "possibly" get books and they would cost $4.00 per copy.  We had to go to lawyers to get out of our deal with him. Mr. Nanzetta and Signature Books came highly recommended, but I was still skeptical.  Being shrewd (neurotic?), I asked Phil about 8 questions a day. He answered every one in detail, no matter how inane, or redundant, and each within a few hours of my e-mails to him. (editor's note:  this is not to encourage 8 inane or redundant questions a day) Finally, I jumped in with his company and he had the books done in two weeks and for over $1.00 less per book.  Plus, they looked flawless -- unlike our publisher's version.

It's been night and day from my initial experience in the book  world.  I couldn't be happier or more impressed.

I wanted to take time to express my appreciation for all the help and assistance you have given in the printing and publication of my books. As you are probably aware, I am not an experienced young writer. I have forgotten more about writing from my school and college days than I remember. Self-learning and remembering computer and word processing has not been easy. Please thank Linda Wood and others for the excellent help.

Back when I began looking for a company to print the first book, I found it to be a long and arduous task. During the search I learned to be cautious because of my inexperience in the field, although I consider myself experienced and successful in other undertakings. The purpose of my writing now is not financial gain. "You" have helped fulfill that purpose.

In the future I plan writing other books. If I am able to complete them, I hope you are there to assist - as you have with my present books.

We have used three printers over the past eight years and Signature Book Printing is hands down the best. They do what they say they will and when they say.  They are very helpful with ideas, have good cover artists available for a very reasonable fee, turn the book around quickly and are very responsive. We have used them three times since 2004 and have been very pleased. Some printers use pricing "tricks", such as giving themselves the contractual right to be 10% above or below the requested number of copies--Signature does not do that. I would give them my highest endorsement.

It is a distinct pleasure to recommend Signature Book Printing. The finished product of my book was very high quality and outstanding, especially the beautiful four-color cover. Phil Nanzetta and Linda Wood are true professionals -- their customer service was "second to none". Questions I had about my book were answered promptly and professionally.

Signature's website is outstanding and HONEST. Everything they advertise is true -- nothing is "hidden" like on other book publishing web sites. Keep my "printing plates" handy -- future reprintings of Mayday! are a certainty. I'm currently writing another book; Signature will be printing that one too!

I just wanted to let you know that the author is extremely pleased with the book. He received his initial copies on Saturday.  He called me just about beside himself with glee.  It turned out better than he ever dreamed. We both appreciate your hard work, patience, and guidance throughout the process.  We hope to have several more books published through the company in the next 12-18 months.  We promise to use the lessons learned on this first project to make things go smoother on our end the next time. Your organization is a pleasure to work with. Please give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who had a hand in the book's production.  I look forward to seeing the copy you shipped me.

My books arrived this afternoon and I am very pleased!  The quality of the printed text is excellent - better than I had hoped going into this project, but I am especially happy about the quality of the photos.  In general, they are as good as, if not better than, the original photos.  As we said in the Navy, "Well done!"   As it turns out, my father (the primary subject of the book) is visiting with us.  I have shown him the book and he is overjoyed.  I suspect the other WWII veterans of his squadron will enjoy reading it also.

In addition to the quality of the final product, I also appreciate the timely and professional way that you dealt with me. Your price was fair and Phil's advice and recommendations to me were right on the mark.

Thank you very much!

Thank you - we received the books today and they look great!

I just want to thank you both for making this process so smooth and easy.  I was a little hesitant ordering my books online, but your service was exemplary and the books exceeded my expectations.  From quoting and designing to production and shipping, you were both incredibly helpful and professional.  I'll be sure to recommend SBP to anyone who might need your services and will be in touch whenever we need more books.

Thanks again,

I'm on board with Signature Book Printing for life. I examined scores of book printing companies and was drawn to Signature by the clear and practical presentation of the website. The no-nonsense approach extended right through the ordering and production process. I'm completely satisfied with results. The colors and craftsmanship are superb. I would bet the farm that there is not a better choice for quality or value.

Phil,

I could not be more pleased or happier with my book in hand.  And most importantly, in my 25 years of print production experience, I found your customer service approach, attention to detail, overall ease in working together to be second to none. I am so pleased I found Signature Books online and am very impressed by the quality of the outcome and will look forward to printing my next book (hopefully it won't take ten years!) with you and will recommend you highly to everyone who is interested. Thank you especially for understanding our 'uncoated approach' and making sure the results were exactly as intended.

The books look great!  The colors are terrific!  Thanks so much for walking me through this whole process, it's been quite a learning experience having my first picture book published, but you have been very helpful and encouraging.

Everyone raves about the quality of the books and are impressed by the bright colors of the illustrations.  I'm looking forward to getting started on the second book of the series, The Adventures of Bebe and Poppy. A special thanks to you and your staff!

When the truck arrived (on an expedited schedule around the holidays, I might add) I popped the first box holding my breath...

I was stunned.  The books weren't only great quality, they surpassed my every expectation!

I have always been coached on "Price, Quality, or Time... pick two and only two."  I got all three.  Now, not only am I a believer in case-bound hardcovers (I'd been a dust jacket man before), I am a converted believer in Signature Book Printing!

The books finally arrived yesterday, and I am very pleased with the final result! My primary concern before seeing the book was with how some of the painting photos would come out and I'm very happy to say that there isn't one of them that I'm not satisfied with!  The binding, the paper, the printing, the dust jacket: top-notch materials were used and work done on everything.  This is a product that I am very proud of and you should be too.  Please feel free to use me as a reference.

Thank you for your excellent work,

Just wanted to let you know the books arrived in perfect shape today.  They look absolutely great.  My colleagues and family are impressed with the quality.  Within 15 minutes of having them at my office, I sold the first one.  When I came home, my first Amazon.com order was waiting for me as well.  I have already shipped out two review copies.

Thank you for everything.  You have been a pleasure to work with.  Please feel free to add my comments to your list of testimonials.

I have one final question: when I need to re-order, will you keep the digital files with the changes you made for that purpose (along with the plates)?  Or do you redo each new order? [the answer is that we archive files for easy reprinting - Phil]

Anyway, I am so happy I found your company.  I feel like I really lucked out with you all.

The book just came in the door and I had to send you this note. They look fantastic! The colors are rich and deep, just like the prints off our Epson printer. Make sure your people know how impressed we are with this year’s book. Looking forward to the two we are publishing next year.

I want to thank you and Linda and your printing plant for the work you all did on "Autobiographica." You exceeded my highest expectations!

The artist group I belong to meets monthly, and I have proposed that next year (Sept. 2010 and after) we have a program on self-publishing. A number of our members have tried it, and I'm sure that more will be tempted if given the right information. Unfortunately that won't happen for several months, but meanwhile, I'm telling everyone I know how lucky I was to find this wonderful printer, who is so responsive and helpful and whose prices are very competitive.

In spite of the double blizzard last month, you managed to get me sample copies so that I was able to take orders at the last meeting of this group.

We received the books last Friday, and they look great! We are so happy with them! You all were so helpful, informative and professional, and I just wanted to thank you for all of your help through the process. Our 40th Anniversary is Sunday, and we will be handing the books out then. The few people who have seen them already are amazed and pleased at the quality.

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure working with you all.

The books arrived today, and they are really, really beautiful. SBP did an amazing job, and gave me good advice about papers/binding. I am so pleased! I can't wait to share them with the world, and hopefully make a little money, too! :)

I will definitely give your company name out to anyone that wants to do their own book. And I already have an idea in mind for a new book that I want to do next year - and I'll definitely come to you first. Thank you, thank you!!!

Dear Phil:
I am writing to commend you on the superior work you've done with printing my book entitled "It's a Rap! Rhythm and Poetry for Teens & Young Adults" which was co-written with my daughter, Amanda.  You, Linda Wood, and your team provided expert advice.  Your company ensured that my desired outcome was achieved.  Quality service, timely delivery, and superb production are all attributes of Signature Book Printing.  Indeed, you have exceeded my expectations! I would also like to mention that our book was a featured story in The Washington Post Newspaper, and is being used by youth groups as a motivational tool.

Thanks again for a job well done!  Feel free to share our information with others, especially those who seek tools to help the youth.

Dear Phil:
Just a quick note to let you know that the copies of DOING MY DUTY arrived this afternoon as scheduled.  And they look great!  Print and photo quality are excellent as is the cover design and color.  Preliminary reviews are outstanding.  As you know this is the second book that you printed for me.  The first one, LOOKING BACKWARD, was very well received and I now have every reason to believe that this one will be also.  Again, I appreciate your expert advice, your high standards, the high quality of your work, your patience - and your reasonable prices.  I intend to write another book and look forward to working with you again.  Thanks again!

Hello Linda and Phil,
Great news about my book Washington’s Waltz that you printed at the beginning of the year!  3x3 Magazine, one of the biggest names in contemporary illustration, has given a merit award to Washington’s Waltz  for their annual Pro Show.  This is a GIANT honor and I am so grateful for the amazing printing job you all did, as I’m sure that helped in getting the book noticed.  Thank you again for doing a splendid job – I look forward to doing further projects with you.

Phil: We received the books last night. The timing was such that I was able to be on hand when they arrived. I want to say thank you for a great piece of work on your end and thank you for helping me through the process. I learned a lot from you even though we've never had a chance to meet face to face. Again, thank you for meeting all my expectations and being patient with a newbie.

Hey Phil,
All the books arrived today, and I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with how they came out. They look fantastic. Thanks so much for bearing with me and my wet feet--you were incredibly helpful and I appreciate that greatly.

Have you ever heard of a site called Kickstarter? Well, that's how this book got funding, and I'll be sure to recommend you guys on my project page. I will also certainly be bringing my future business to you guys.

I wanted to thank you so much for the high quality of my books. I can't tell you how happy I am. After 4 years for tireless work on this project, I was incredibly nervous of how they would look, and they exceeded my expectations. As well, for the price which is helping me to get started. I am very happy also that my books came exactly on schedule.

Dear Phil & Crew,
Thank you for your sterling work in printing The Central Texas Conference At The Center of Texas Methodism.  I apologize for my tardiness in expressing both the enthusiasm of our committee and my personal gratitude for your outstanding service. We could not be more pleased about the quality of your work.

Since I was the one who most depended on you, I especially appreciate the relationship. You were always available and always helpful. You may be sure that I will recommend you to anyone who seeks a place for book printing.

Hi Phil!
After researching over two dozen book printers across the U.S. and requesting quotes from more than a dozen we chose to go with Signature Book Printing because you provided not only the best prices, you provided the most support and most precise technical specifications than any other book printer with which we interacted!

The Vegas Lounge Cut books look FANTASTICALLY WAY WICKED AWESOME!!! Our client, George Joseph, is beside himself pleased and thus we are too! Have you had a chance to look at one? Thank you for an excellent first time experience working with Signature Book Printing! I think we have begun a long term relationship! Speaking of which, George has two previously printed books that I’m currently updating with him. I will be asking for printing quotes on those as well! Thank you for ALL your time and assistance! If you ever need me to talk to a potential client as a reference, have them contact me!

Until next time, enjoy your days!

Hi Phil!
I wanted to personally thank you for everything, Jason received the books yesterday and I met up with him last night to get a couple, they look amazing and the production on these books are immaculate. My client is very happy and we have had good response from other people in person and via web with just showing off some photos of the cover and color of the pages. We want to do more books in the future, two are in the talks. I would definitely come back to your company, the craftsmanship is excellent and so is the customer service. Thanks for answering all my questions and staying on top of things.

Hi Phil and Linda,
The books arrived a short while ago and I just have to say, I am thrilled with how it turned out. You really are great and I would never think of printing a book anywhere else, and will tell every writer I know or meet about you. I did have some minor damage to a few of the books (I think 5 are unsalable), but nothing to worry about. I sold my first copy as soon as I unpacked the first box! Thanks so much, and I hope to be back in touch with you soon.
